Winter Warmers: Our four favourite teas best served hot

Nov 18, 2024

As the temperatures drop and the days get shorter, there's nothing like a warm cup of Ceylon tea to soothe the soul. Here are four of our favourite teas to cosy up with during winter.

First on our list is Winter Tea. This blend includes a long wiry leaf with natural Cranberry fruits that will please your sense of smell. Along with the fruity flavour of Cranberries that are low in calories, high in fibre, and rich in vitamin C, this beverage can be served up warm or iced and makes it a drink for all seasons but most importantly, it will make you feel snug on a cold winter day.

Next is Masala Chai. A Sri Lankan favourite, it is inspired by the tea makers of India. Owing to the delightful taste are natural spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger together with pure Ceylon black tea.

It isn’t called Spiced Tea for nothing. These spices not only add flavor and aroma to the tea, but they also have health benefits making it the perfect variety to get you through the cold months.

Third on our list is Cranberry Tea. Another tea where the nutrient-filled berry takes centre stage, this is sure to uplift your senses while its antioxidants make it a healthy choice for the winter months. It can be served warm or chilled making it perfect to fight cold or sun.

Finally, we have Ceylon Black Essence. This is a high-quality black tea from Sri Lanka. Each sip delivers a taste of seductive chocolate and mint. Paying homage to its past, this earl grey formation presents a dense citrusy feel to your taste buds along with traces of rose. It's a great tea for those who enjoy a traditional cup of tea.
