Ingredients:
05 teaspoons of Leaf of Ceylon Radella
01 cup of unsweetened dairy-free milk of choice
½ cup of sugar
01 and ¼ cups of full-fat coconut milk
⅛ teaspoon of salt
Green food colouring (optional)
Directions:
Heat your choice of dairy-free milk in a small saucepan over medium until it’s hot and steaming, just before it starts boiling.
Remove the pan from the stove and add in the tea leaves and let it steep in the hot milk for 05 minutes.
Strain the milk by running it through a sieve to a heat-proof bowl and whisk in the sugar and salt until well combined.
Add in the coconut milk and whisk until it’s smooth.
The colour of the ice cream will be very light, optionally you can add in a few drops of green food colouring for a brighter hue.
Transfer the mixture to a glass bowl and let it cool down to room temperature, cover it up and refrigerate for additional 02 hours.
Churn the chilled mixture in your ice cream maker according to its user manual.
You can serve this as soft serve, or pour this mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate for 03 hours and serve as hard serve.
